You are my absolute favorite designer. Your use of color, texture and unique design elements are so appealing. Few designers in my opinion achieve that spectral balance that makes the design just magical. I have enjoyed reading the saga of your renovation of Kemble cottage. The kitchen however I agree with you but what stops me in my tracks is the island. It feels too big, overpowering and staid. Please forgive me for speaking out but that’s what jumped off the image for me. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Just food for thought. Our previous home had a large island - my kids called it a continent. I would never do that again.
